Description

Have you always wanted to go fishing but don't know how? Then join us this summer for the Learn to Fish program at Heart Lake Conservation Area. This is a great opportunity to learn everything you need to know to have a safe and fun fishing experience. Over a two hour session you will learn about fishing in Ontario and you might even catch one yourself! The program will help you get started; whether you want to take up a new hobby or help your children or grandchildren catch their first fish, you can make new memories and enjoy nature. Equipment is provided, and the cost is free to participate in the program. *Fees to enter the conservation area apply (children 14 and under are free; 15+ is $6.50)

Sessions run rain or shine, however they are subject to cancellation.

Please note: A maximum of 40 people per session, so please register each person participating. Program is suitable for 6 years of age and older. We limit registration to 10 people to allow for walk-ins up to an additional 30 people. Once we hit our maximum number of 40 we can not permit an more.

Drop in sessions will run Wednesday to Sunday all summer long, twice daily 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 3pm.
